Adware producer[edit]

Apparently Sweetlabs has been flagged in the malware community as a producer of multiple forms of adware/bloatware/malware. This article does not reflect this. So, in the next little while, I will be looking for properly sourced material that meets WP:RS and WP:V, to correct this article if it is required. The Sweetlabs staff who are monitoring this article are warned that, if their company is actually a producer of adware, it will be reflected in this article in the future. Shady links and advertisement-like tone[edit]

This article previously had the {advert} tag, and while I was rewriting it, I found that one source was blatantly wrong:

"As of 2014 SweetLabs was the driver for about 1 million app installs per day,[1]"

The source mentions nothing about this, not even any metrics on app installs whatsoever. There appears to have been a large edit that added most of the text I ended up rewriting, which feels off to me.

Additionally, If anyone is out there, could I have some advice on what could or should be done? Or what I can do to look into this and provide insight? I wanted to 'Be Bold' and try and combat some {advert} tags, but I'm fairly new to the world of wikiediting, and want to know if I'm taking a step in the right direction.
