"Periods" is OR?[edit]

Okay - I'm not sure exactly why a few comments about the style of the 4th symphony appears under the heading "Tippett's Periods". Then there is the comment made that the fact this symphony appears to have representatives of all his previous periods apparently means that this work is the inauguration of a 3rd period (so "all his previous styles" means both of the other two styles?) There's a comment in the Tippett article suggesting that his works should be divided into three periods, but it's not clear where that idea comes from, and there's no reference to why or who says that Tippett 4 is the first work of his third period - so it really comes over as original research to me. -- PaulHammond (talk) 14:56, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
