I think the following sentence lacks of an important passage concerning the differente acquisition of the software house and the change of the name of the software: "It was initially distributed by Jandel Scientific Software but by January 2004, Systat Software acquired the exclusive worldwide rights from SPSS, Inc. to distribute SigmaPlot and other Sigma Series products. Systat Software is now based in San Jose, California.".

As far as I can deduce, it should be gone so: Jandel Scientific Software was acquired by by SPSS inc. in an unknown year. Then, in January 2004, SPSS inc was acquired by Systat Software Inc., based in San Jose, California. Tablecurve 2D/3D wes renamed SigmaPlot after the aquisition by Systat Software Inc

Is it correct? If so can someone chenge the paragraph of the article here and in "Tablecurve 2D" article?

Thank you all, bye.

I have an update: as far as I see from the website of Systat Software Inc Tablecurve 2D/3D still exists and it is distributed so the sentence in object (see before) has to be surely corrected because not clear at all. My proposal is: "It was initially distributed by Jandel Scientific Software but, by January 2004, by Systat Software". Let me know, bye.
