Hey - can someone make the list of crate effects more comprehensive? I can't remember all of them! Thanks, The Fish 19:19, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge and delete[edit]

When this article was proposed for deletion, I had a few thoughts regarding it. Right now, looking at this article, I don't see much use for the crates section, and I think it could be deleted, but that would leave the Tacitus hanging on its own. I propose that we delete the section on crates (or condense and move it to one of the C&C game articles) and move the Tacitus to the main Tiberium article. Yay or nay? Since no one has raised any objections, I've moved the article to a more fitting name. Merging with either Tiberium or Scrin may occur later. Peptuck 22:38, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How To Improve This Article[edit]

Hi people, I'm newly registered (though I've been anon lurking and editing for months), so don't go too harsh on me. This is my first edit (I just edited the main article substantially) so I've decided to explain what I did incase I did anything noobish! :)

I just completed what I hope is a major rewrite and restructuring of the article, though I'm completely noobish with Wikipedia's code, so there were some changes I was completely unable to make.

However, I did 2 things I'm not sure I was allowed to do. I removed the "in universe" tag, because I felt it was obviously about a videogame now, to the point it might seem patronising, and I removed the "intro is too long" tag, because I shortened it significantly. I'm not sure if there is a special process to go through before doing this, but I felt it was completely justified and I hope you all agree.

However, as I said earlier, I can't do much here but write, so I would like it if somebody did the following to the article:

-Add an image of the Tacitus at the top of the article. It currently looks quite basic and unprofessional, and I think it could use a small picture at the top right of the article, showing the Tacitus. Perhaps a Firestorm cutscene would have the necessary image.

-Add citations. The tags I daren't remove were the "needs more cite" and "looks all made up/orignal research tags" because I knew how correct they were. This article currently has around 0 citations, and I don't know how to cite yet, so I'd love it if somebody linked to some cutscenes or whatever source works. As many cites as possible guys please.

And that should do it really. I hope this article is now safe from deletion- that was my main aim, and I'd be saddened if this article got deleted anyway. And I'm also sorry to boss you guys around with cites and picture. I know it seem out of order- a noob bossing around the pros, but I've done all I can and I mean no disrespect.

So here's to the Tacitus article, my first ever edit! Thanks guys, I'll cya around. Don't be afraid to drop in on my talk page!
