Parliament structure

@Dhantegge Is there a source for the parliament having the structure shown in the diagram? I can’t find anything online that suggests they use the French semi-circle shape. — HTGS (talk) 09:42, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bicameral

Is there any evidence that the parliament is still bicameral? The only indications I can find are very old, and all refer to Kauhanganui, eg this law review article, which maybe indicates that the upper house was the council of twelve(?):

Forms of rūnanga as mechanisms of political participation were further seen with King Tawhiao's establishment of the Kingitanga's Kauhanganui, as a bicameral institution with its Council of the Twelve, which had its first sittings in the 1880s.
