WPC's

The Bill tried for realism, showing sometimes just how violent a police officer's life can be. It also showed that women police officers can sometimes be out of their depth when faced with violent men. Like when Viv Martella got hit hard in the face by a petty thief who when caught later apologised to her and said women shouldn't really be in such a job. WPC Brind is remanded by Conway in that although she successfully defused a tense situation between hard men in a pub (S05E85), if it had gone the wrong way she could have been beaten up or worse, so should have sent for backup before entering.(5.8.190.86 (talk) 11:38, 3 September 2017 (UTC))
