Novella length

[edit]

Is the novella shorter than this description? Geeez! -- Zoe

Ha ha. No, IIRC it was about 150 pp. though. --KQ 22:24 Sep 20, 2002 (UTC)

However, both our article on the Samuel Beckett work Breath and its talk page are considerably longer than the work itself. --LDC

Chris Chambers/the Body

[edit]

When I link to or search "Chris Chambers" on Wikepedia, I get this listing. Chris Chambers is a wide receiver for the NFL's Miami Dolphins. I don't see how this listing is appropriate for him.

He is a character in "The Body" by Stephen King DUMBASS!!! you probably only know him as chris in the movie "Stand By ME"

^^^I believe the person is referring to the fact that linking brackets were placed around the character "Chris Chambers"'s name, which linked to said NFL player. Reconsider your "dumbass!!!" accusation. Xprivate eyex (talk) 11:00, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How come the incident of the stolen milk money isn't included?

Go for it, dude! Ellsworth 23:19, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How about a section noting the differences between the book and movie? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lobejks (talkcontribs) 06:46, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup tag

[edit]

I added a cleanup tag to this article- the plot is overly detailed and unwieldy. I decided not to use a plot tag because the issue is also with the short stories described within the plot description. -Elizabennet | talk 19:33, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have started heavy-duty clean-up and copy-editing; I will hopefully be able to track down some refs/external links in the meantime, as well. I hope to have the tag removed soonish, and all help is welcome. :) María: (habla conmigo) 17:18, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The link re. friend hit by train redirects to an article on Virginia Tech. Flair53 (talk) 02:04, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Age problems

[edit]

It's 1960 when he is writing it and it occured in 1959 one of these numbers is wrong becuase it said in 1960 he is thirty something. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.174.135.175 (talk) 18:28, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stephen King

[edit]

I find it strange that this article does not mention - at all - the autobiographical nature of "The Body". It seems obvious to me but it certainly warrants being included in the article. Xprivate eyex (talk) 10:59, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
