Merge[edit]

Another, larger, article has been written about the same subject at The Entertainer (play). Because the play doesn't deserve ownership of the phrase "The Entertainer" (prior art exists with the same name), I suggest this article be merged into that one and this title be redirected to The Entertainer (disambiguation). Thanks for that! I've transplanted the film details to the The Entertainer (play) article, which now leaves not one but two redundant articles, The Entertainer (film) and The Entertainer. Reordering of songs[edit]

I just did a reordering of the songs section to put them in chronological order. Not only do I think it makes more sense from a historical and thematic perspective to put the Scott Joplin rag before the Billy Joel song, but also if you do a search for "the entertainer" "scott joplin" vs "the entertainer" "billy joel," the former has more than three times the results of the latter — Preceding unsigned comment added by Waidawut (talk • contribs) 19:55, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
