I do believe that Anna Atkins holds the title for the first photo book, which was a series of cyanotype prints of flora. "Photographs of British Algae: Cyanotype Impressions". She beat Talbot by a few months, but alas, as she was female, Talbot seems to have won the credit. 209.6.92.157 (talk) 18:44, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
