Article title[edit]

To the best of my research, the film's original release title was The Saint's Girl Friday. I'm not sure why the IMDb gives The Saint's Return as the original title. If anyone can provide a source that confirms Return as the original title, I have no objection to this article being renamed accordingly. 23skidoo 01:27, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, your research must be wrong. The film was originally released as The Saint's Return in London in October 1953. When it was released in the US six months later, it was given the title The Saint's Girl Friday. The US version was also shortened five minutes, according to www.saint.org.
