Well, The Saturday Telegraph (GK crossword, May 19 2007) seems to thinks so. Anyway, I'm just about to have one - clichoid 24.5.07
Yes, definitely. A sundowner is a cocktail or alcoholic drink enjoyed at sunset. Mostly a British term. I don't see an article or definition of it on Wikipedia.

Disambiguation
[edit]Shouldn't this article be a disambiguation page? Lumbergh 20:20, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Yes, and I've rewritten it as one. I've removed the dictionary defintions and set up redirects so that this serves as a navigation to actual articles. -- Whpq (talk) 17:47, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Sundowner wind
[edit]This isn't a fohn wind. Not all downslope winds are fohns. The fohn requires precipitation on windward slopes, resulting in warmer temps at equivalent elevations on leeward slopes. With no precipitation, temps at equivalent elevation on both sides of the mountains will be the same. However, there is the possibility that the Sundowner is similar to the so-called Diablo in that it derives its heat and dryness from the upper atmosphere, i.e. subsidence. We need more info and sources to nail this. Tmangray (talk) 19:05, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
