Although I've lived in the UK all my life (south west London, in fact) I've never seen the Bumps given at school, only at home. Not seen the arm-punching one either, although "pinch, punch, first day of the month" was common in some schools I went to. The punching version may exist because it could be given by one person, and doesn't require a large group. Pippin 00:14, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
