Color TV

I added a paragraph about Tom Stafford's role in color television on Apollo mission spaceflights. The amount of work he did in getting NASA to fast track sequential color TV on its lunar missions is very underrated. 193.16.163.243 (talk) 18:01, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Dstevenb 28.09.2009

Museum

The airport also includes a museum dedicated to Stafford. The museum includes a large collection of space-related items including space suits, rocket engines, and a moon rock as well as a small collection of aircraft. I don't recall the exact name or its website, but this information would make a good addition to the article. Rklawton 03:58, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

What does "Recently" Mean?

The article states: "Stafford recently moved from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Florida".

What does "recently" mean on a page that has a lifetime of many years? Can a date be provided instead? Biografiker (talk) 23:33, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Requested move

The result of the proposal was move per request. A google book search with the delimiter "astronaut" supports the move in spades as the common name. Without any middle initial is even more common, but the initial serves as natural disambiguation from articles on other Thomas Staffords.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 11:35, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

Thomas Patten StaffordThomas P. Stafford – This was moved to include the middle name during a streak of improper moves by an editor violate WP:Commonname. The middle initial is much more commonly used, down to the airport actually named after him. Yaksar (let's chat) 06:09, 21 September 2012 (UTC)

Created a Redirect

As I was recently updating the Stafford Museum's page, I noticed that the original maker had created a blank page titled General Thomas P. Stafford. As there was no body of text, and this article existed, I used the Wiki template to create a redirect to this article.L3X1 (talk) 16:21, 24 December 2016 (UTC)
