From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dear Editor,

My name is Fred Nikgohar and I created this page. I am also the CEO of RoboDynamics, the company that made this robot called TiLR.

I believe TiLR meets all of Wikipedia's criteria for an article, as it is simultaneously notable (world's first telepresence robot to be deployed in academic, world's first in enterprise/commercial, world's first telepresence robot for under $10k, amongst others), and is verifiable from multiple sources including newspapers, television, websites, etc (see independent sources below), and even end users. Given the relatively nascent age of the robotics industry, and the incredible innovations taking place in recent years, TiLR (and RoboDynamics by extension) constitute topics that have historic value, in addition to wikipedia's criteria.

However, as RoboDynamic's CEO, I have resisted the urge to edit/modify this page as it goes against Wikipedia's philosophy of neutrality (and my own as well), so it is my hope that someone, some day, will take up the effort. There are plenty of independent sources of information available with a simple search, from many reputable sources such as CNN, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and much much more...

I am happy to provide up to date and accurate information regarding this product, its usage and significance to anyone who'd like to re-write this article and make it valuable... but please do not delete this page as it would be a diservice to our community.

Thank you in advance. Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss.

Best, /Fred

Dear Editor, I created this page before and it seems it was deleted. While this page does talk about a commercial product, the TiLR robot is nevertheless a legitimate product with an interesting development history and of tremendous technical and business process value. I have added references from 3rd parties which include a Google Tech Talks video as well as a blog post by the X Prize Foundation folks. Please let me know if you need further references or feel free to Google the product for yourself. Ultimately, my goal is to make this page informative and useful for the community so any feedback would be appreciated.

Best, /Fred
