Removed key references
[edit]Part of an edit requested by an editor with a conflict of interest has been implemented. [see below] |
Please note I am the original author of this free/open source software project although do not financially benefit from it.
- Specific text to be added or removed: I'd like the references here to be reinstated (I think the second one already has) https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=TidalCycles&diff=1066330027&oldid=1063278331
- Reason for the change: These are key references to peer reviewed papers giving important background for this free/open source software. They were removed as with the claim of being 'CoI' as I am both creator of this software and author of the papers. But as far as I remember, I didn't add them here in the first place. I have a lot of edits to this page, but those edits are almost all uncontroversial - updating metadata such as the version number. I would revert this myself but I suppose that could be seen as controversial. For what it's worth, the account deleting these references seems to have been created for the sole purpose of [content] from many pages vaguely related to me, and appears to be a case of WP:SPASOCK. They removed these references before requesting an AfD on the basis that the page doesn't have enough references..

- I readded two of the references, which were cited in the very first revision. One was added by you diff which I did not restore. RoseCherry64 (talk) 12:06, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking the time to do that, and fair enough. Yaxu (talk) 13:16, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
