I found one of these Older type Timing-lights & wondered how to use it. I am glad I found this link!

Basicly one plugs one end of the Timing-light into the #1 sparkplug-boot & then the other end of the Timinglight onto the #1 sparkplug itself.

Bad picture

That is about the worst picture to illustrate a timing light that I could imagine. You can't see the bulb! Most timing lights (in my experience) don't include any meters. I may have to go down to Canadian Tire and buy a timing light(if they still have them!) just to take a picture of it. If we have to do that much explanation in the caption to explain why you can't see the "light" part, then perhaps we're better off without the picture altogether. --Wtshymanski (talk) 16:42, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
