Cast List
Would anybody mind if I posted the Cast List of this musical, in order of importance and catagory? I am very new to wikipedia, so I am simply wondering since that may be a major change to teh article and since the only source I have for it is a list that I found with my old theatre stuff from back in grade school. Of course if nobody says anything, I will be bold and do it anyway. Ageofe 19:13, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Notable Productions
[edit]Obviously with the 100th Anniversary since the sinking of the Titanic being this year, a lot of productions have become listed on this page. Its become a bit of a brochure and doesn't have many citations, I suggest we make sure that productions that are listed, are listed in a neater style with citations linking to reviews from Newspapers and such? --Smeowrend (talk) 12:38, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
- Another such production was posted recently. I wonder if they even should be included in the article if they're amateur productions. I wouldn't, say, include my high school production of The Music Man in its respective article. MarianKroy (talk) 16:06, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
- I removed the most obviously amateur productions. The section is still a bit of a mess, so I may come back to it later. MarianKroy (talk) 05:32, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
- I removed the Second National Tour section. There have been many small tours that have travel around. Though many are entertaining, they are just a step above amateur. The tour that was mentioned is out of NJ. The Ocean Professional Theatre company has only been around for a year, and this is their first tour. Mo information on the tour is posted on their website. I could not find any company information on Boebe, so it may just be a front company out of Delaware to avoid NJ taxes (This is just a thought). The ref that was listed led to an old cast audition posting, but did not give any dates, cities or venues. So in short, no it should not be listed and that is why I deleted it. --Somefacts (talk) 00:50, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Noting deceased characters
[edit]Is there any value in noting which of the characters died during the sinking and/or the show? I know that Wikipedia includes spoilers when relevant, but this seems to be spoilers for no apparent benefit. If nobody speaks up here in defense of including that information, I may remove it. 65.240.195.196 (talk) 19:17, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
- I removed the information. 65.240.195.196 (talk) 14:09, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
