This page appears to have been written by a member of the band and reads like a website biography. It should be wikified. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.38.145.115 (talkcontribs) 21:26, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I'm the main contributor to this page, and my verbal reaction to this flagging is "Ahh...whoops" Best explain it. First of all, I am not a member of Touchstone. I am in fact a very big fan of their music. I realise that this means I need to be more careful in what I write - while I tried to be unbiased, it's likely that I had a subconscous objective to try and promote that band. Which of course goes against policy.

Secondly, a website biography? In a way, I like that. It sounds like I could indeed write a biography about them one day. However, Wikipedia isn't the place to practice that.

Just so you know, this is my first attempt at writing a Wikipedia article, although I didn't in fact create the page (e.g. The introduction line before the contents box was already there). I shall see what I can do to make a more neutral POV. Any suggestions to help me with this will be appreciated.

Oh, and about the citations flag: that was there before I started, and have put a few more in. What's difficult is that most of what I know about Touchstone and their activity comes from their Forum I.e. things that the band members have said. I don't think I'm really able to cite individual threads from the site, am I? Either way, I'll continue to find online sources of information.

Finally, in case you're wondering why there is a page on a band that isn't as big as, say, Dream Theater, as Classic Rock magazine said, they are the UK's most promising Prog Rock band. As more websites and organisations (namely USA Progressive music and RoSFest) talk more about them, a Page here would be good for people who already know them to find out more about them, I feel. Or does that seem that biased? BinkyTheRabbit (talk) 17:23, 3 August 2009 (UTC) :
