This talk subpage is dedicated to creating and refining a FAQ list to reduce repetitive questions. Please join us by improving both the page and the article. If you add a question, please add a discussion sub-section for it. A cursory review of the archives suggests that a lot of people touch on one of more of the questions below, but they could be sliced in dozens of ways.

  1. Why does the article talk about sex and gender as if they were two different things?
    Answer: The preponderance of sources (as well as most societies) are coming to discuss sex and gender as separate concepts. Sex usually refers to physical or biological traits like endocrine system, genitals, and secondary sex characteristics. Gender refers to societal expectations and a person's expression of those and other characteristics, and most especially a person's gender identity.   2. Isn't this whole article pushing a liberal POV?
