Needs work[edit]

I've taken a stab at making this more readable, and deleting the table from a dated article on survival rates. There's a lot more that needs to be done, including deleting repetition in section on human trisomies. --75.34.28.215 (talk) 01:08, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Funny you mention but I was wondering about trisomy survival - aren't there fairly normal people with XXX? Are there a few chromosomes that can be tripled up and it's no big deal? Do they have children who survive? just curious. OsamaBinLogin (talk) 03:39, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Trisomy of *sex* chromosomes?[edit]

Would you define klinefelter syndrome as a trisomy? I haven't found any articles to prove the existence of the term "trisomy of sex chromosomes".

X and Y chromosomes are not identical, they're different chromosomes which belong in a group of "sex chromosomes".

Hence I think we cannot use the term "trisomy of sex chromosomes". Better term: Sex chromosome abnormalities. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sav vas (talkcontribs) 14:44, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
