Turf Toe Is A Cutan-what?[edit]

There's so much jargon in two little lines! Can this be simplified? I have no idea what turf toe is, or I would have tried to simplify it myself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.213.80.65 (talk) 18:53, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- I don't believe this is real. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.41.193.166 (talk) 21:13, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

This should be merged with Metatarsalphalangeal joint sprain. Having both articles as they are now doesn't really do much. Ibanez Guy (talk) 20:38, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree here. A little disambiguation is needed, since it appears that "turf toe" is a ligamentous injury (sprain) and not a musculo-tendinous injury (strain). It should also be mentioned that this injury is associated with artificial turf, as opposed to the more forgiving natural turf surface, when the great toe is bearing off the ground in its extended position. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.39.61.99 (talk) 20:40, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
