Caribbean or Mediterranean

At one point in the article it says they originated in the Caribbean, and at another in the Mediterranean. Unless I am misreading. It just doesn't seem clear where they are from. It says on this page: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2009/01/090130-immortal-jellyfish-swarm.html that they were first found in the Mediterranean in 1883. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.118.42.120 (talk) 06:49, 14 May 2014 (UTC)

Another cultural reference

The immortal jellyfish was brought up in conversation in the manga Toriko, though I cannot find where, as it's a pretty long series. If I find it, shall I put it under the "In popular culture"? Ron Stoppable (talk) 19:04, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

"In popular culture" sections tend to become lists of obscure mentions of the topic in question. WP:TRIVIA applies, specifically MOS:POPCULT. If you can phrase your example together with the one already existing into a bit of text, then maybe (depends on the outcome). But if it is just another mention like the one already there, then no. --JorisvS (talk) 09:23, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
