[edit]Per MOS:FILM, " Genre classifications should comply with WP:WEIGHT and reflect what is specified by a majority of mainstream reliable sources." I've gone through a few reviews from Metacritic at random to seek out the genres discussed.
- The Guardian: ". This 1980s-set action epic lovingly, meticulously recreates the notorious neighbourhood (which was demolished in 1994), but sadly, the backdrop is more interesting than the story." here
- Screen Daily "Soi Cheang returns triumphantly to Hong Kong genre cinema with this old-school 80s actioner set in Kowloon’s Walled City" here)
- San Francisco Chronicle "The action movie is a glorious throwback to those days, both cinematically and literally. " here
- The Observer "Set in Kowloon’s treacherous 80s gangland, Soi Cheang’s no-holds-barred action thriller pits a bare-knuckle refugee against a cackling bad guy" here
- Slant Magazine "‘Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In’ Review: An Alternately Thrilling and Dense Action Epic" here
- RogerEbert.com "It’s hard to imagine that this summer will see a better crowd-pleaser than “Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In,” a nostalgic Hong Kong action spectacular featuring the year’s most thrilling action filmmaking." here
- Variety "While Soi Cheang's action film often flounders, it recreates '80s Hong Kong iconography with visual splendor. " here
From this, I'm comfortable of changing the lead to be just "action" for the genre, instead of the hybrid of several genres applied here. Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:10, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
