Don't merge the URJ camp articles!

As an Eisner camper, I can tell you that the different camps have unique locations, histories, cultures, and traditions even if they are run by the same URJ division. jules1236

Each camp is very different and each camp has its own traditions and histories. Don't merge the articles!

These camps are really non notable on their own. However, the operation of the camps by the URJ is notable. I stronly believe these can be merged. These articles read like printouts of the individual websites, and seem to serve as a form of advertising. MERGE! Nlsanand 01:48, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the information on the camps needs to be merged in, before the camp articles simply get deleted - I have seen a number of summer camp artices get AFDed. Unless they are really notable somehow, I don't think they have much claim to individual articles. --Brianyoumans 04:06, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That AfD has actually already happened. Much of the salvageable material got merged into Union for Reform Judaism, which is where URJ Camps redirects. Further disussion there is leaning towards nuking virtually all the camp-specific info. Might want to talk about it there... DMacks 04:23, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
