Navy terminology

U.S. Navy ships, by tradition, are always referred to as "she" and not "it." The term "it" is demeaning since ships, by tradition, were considered by their crews to have a human nature.

Considering a ship as "it" is an attempt at revisionist history, and not something that should be tolerated in Wikipedia. Wikited 22:24, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page in poor condition

Page was in poor condition to possible vandalism. I removed the old infobox and replaced it with new type and re-Wikified the entire text. Wikited 23:11, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
