HMS Broadwater (former Mason) ship's bell preserved in Broadwater NE
[edit]The ship's bell of the HMS Broadwater (former USS Mason) is currently preserved in the Broadwater, NE village public library, along with a news clipping from the local paper with the history of the ship and story of the presentation of the bell to the Village of Broadwater.
If this information is deemed sufficiently important to add to the article, I can obtain the newspaper reference, and a photograph of the bell for Wikipedia, as I live in the village and am president of our library's Friends group.
Please tack an answer here, and I will refer back to this section if the information is considered worthy of inclusion in the article. 71.50.18.238 (talk) 17:32, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
