Nuclear Nautilus - Years of service?[edit]

Why does the USS Nautilus (SSN-571) say "1954–Present" when, according to the article on the sub, she was decommissioned on 3 March 1980?---Puff (talk) 18:50, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
