1896 Summer Olympics
[edit]Pierre de Coubertin writes in his book Souvenirs d’Amérique et de Grèce that the crew of the USS San Francisco attended to the opening ceremony of the first Olympics on April 12 1896. USS San Francisco was at the time in the Piraeus harbour. However the article says that the San Francisco went back to the US in March 1896. What is right ? Hektor (talk) 10:42, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
