Hello! I’ve just read your article and it is very informative. A few pointers I would give you is to definitely italicize any species you refer (as per what other reviewers have noted), and in your introduction, you need to be more specific in characterizing your species. For example, you could describe the physical appearance of your mould. You’ve incorporated a lot of details in your growth & morphology section which is good but one detail you’ve missed on is the optimal temperature in which you can see the maximal growth of the species. I understand there is a range of temperature but what is it? I highly recommend you check out the link below. This fact sheet refers to several good secondary sources that will be of help to you https://www.inspq.qc.ca/en/moulds/fact-sheets/ulocladium-chartarum . I like your medical significance section but I think you should focus on how your species may impact humans as it is found indoors (Refer back to lecture 4 material). As an additional note, I’ve noticed you’ve referenced some facts to primary articles. Although they are a good source of information, subjectivity and biases are associated with them. I recommend you to look out for secondary sources like review articles, and books. You should look under Timeline in Week 3 on the class dashboard-the professor addresses this. Hello! I enjoyed reading your article and you have a lot of interesting facts about your fungi! I really liked how you included the section about medical significance. I just have some minor suggestions to improve your article.

For your History and and taxonomy section, I think these 2 sentences, "Common molds indoor environments and is common on paper and in spoilage situations.[1] Ulocladium preuss is often isolated from water-damaged materials together with Starchybotrys, and generally its ulocladium Chartarum and U.atrum which are two commonly occurring species of this genus in the buildings (Frisvad and Gravesen 1994, Gravesen et al.1997)[2][2]" are more suited for the Habitat and Ecology section, as you are mentioning that it can be found in indoor environments.

Also for your Growth and Morphology section, you could maybe expand on the points describing the colonies; expand on what type of Petri dish/environment they were grown in to get such results. For ex. were they grown on CYA or MEA plates?

Lastly, I noticed that you are lacking points for the Physiology section. You may want to use this paper: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23637980 . It's "The effect of spaceflight on growth of Ulocladium chartarum colonies on the international space station" by Gomoiu et al (2013). They observed the growth of U. chartarum in regards to spaceflight as it was expected to a possible contaminant in spaceships. You may be able to find some useful points about the physiology of your fungi to include in your section.

Hi Zeeshanfaiz, I read about your fungus, and there are some suggestions that I can give you to improve your article! First, I noticed that in your article, all of the fungi names that you mentioned are not italicized. When using scientific names, you should italicize the genus. Also you can use the name of the genus in an abbreviated form to the first letter, however remember that there are some exceptions, be careful to not to use the abbreviated form all the time. And in your article, you mentioned that 2 different fungi share allergens. This indeed an interesting fact, however, I think you should also include what kind of allergens they are sharing, and as we learned in class there are several types of allergens, so I think you should mention which type of allergens they are sharing. Additionally, I think there are too little info in physiology section about your fungus. Please provide more information about their physiological information about Ulocladium charterm.
