No reference at all for ten years

The title changes. Editors claim that this is an official Navy designation, yet no one can quote it. Lots of non-notable entries in the list. It's all original research, fun for someone, but not encyclopedic. Rhadow (talk) 02:29, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Rhadow: I find this to be very typical in Wikipedia. People just love to make list's of things their interested in, but don't make the list a complete article, or bother with much prose or sources and certainly don't maintain it. For the US Navy alone, it's crazy how many lists of ships there are, or how many different ways the same ships are listed. That being said, there is an "IX : UNCLASSIFIED MISCELLANEOUS" listing in the NVR and most of the ships here have their own articles, so for a class unto itself, this list may be worth keeping. That said, it could use a good cleaning up and updating. Maybe I'll do it myself if I have the time. Cheers - ^theWOLFchild 21:36, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
