US centric[edit]

Both the title "upland hunting" and the description of the techniques of grouse/pheasant shooting are very US centric. Should the page acknowledge that, or reflect different practices elsewhere? MikeHobday 11:13, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

'Upland hunting' can also refer to non-bird game such as cottontail and jackrabbits.SuperFluid 00:00, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

.410[edit]

The 410 is unique among the shotguns for the measure of it's power. Most, expressed as a guage, give the number of balls of the diameter of the bore that would be required to make one pound of lead. The .410 is a measure of the diameter and is therefore not expressed in terms of the guage.--Counsel 23:15, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
