Separate from dab

[edit]

Most searchers who search "VDM" likely expect to be brought to a disambiguation page, to choose an article the searcher will recognize by its full name.
By contrast, even among folks who know that VDM is a religious appellation, most or many don't know (or care) exactly what it stands for (it stands for one of several near-synonymous Latin expressions). A searcher who types "V.D.M." or "V. D. M." (with periods) seems almost certainly to be looking for more background information on the name suffix, that is, the post-nominal letters following a full name which he's come across while reading something somewhere. I don't have strong opinions about what to do, but plainly something should be done. For now, I've thrown some additional stuff into the article VDM.
Unless there are other good ideas, I plan to move the disambiguation stuff to a new page called "VDM (disambiguation)" and keep this page for a stub about V.D.M. and the four near-synonymous appellations verbi dei minister, verbum dei minister, verbi divini minister, and verbi divini magister (you can see the advantage of just listing all four under the initialism). Each of those Latin terms will get a redirect to the new "VDM" article (not a redirect to the proposed "VDM (disambiguation)" article).
Currently, there is a redirect at V D M pointing to the article Vulnerability Discovery Model; IMHO it seems unlikely that a searcher interspersing those three initials with two spaces is uniquely served by redirection to that particular article rather than to the dab.

Slovenia

[edit]

The articel "Verbi divini minister in Slovenian" is not in Slovenian. Does any one know, what language it is? Could be Swedish. HeMiHo (talk) 23:25, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
