"Vae Victus" This is great, what does it mean? I think it means "Woe be to the Food" instead of "Woe be to the vanquished" 05:37, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

That's indeed the case, the only way to interpret this as anything that's actually latin is victus as accusative plural, from victus, -us which indeed means food. So can anyone delete this stupid article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.205.125.179 (talk) 19:28, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
