End of Pro through CNet[edit]

Email I received today. Not sure completely why, as I only sub'd for one year.

"Dear VersionTracker customer,

Today we are announcing that we are no longer selling VersionTracker Pro. For existing customers like you, we will continue to support your VersionTracker Pro subscription through the rest of its term; when the term is over, your service will end.

Some of the resources you are used to on VersionTracker.com are now on CNET Downloads.

Details about individual software products are available at www.download.com.
Information about updates that used to be on VersionTracker.com is now posted on CNET Downloads (go to www.download.com and click New Releases).

If you have any questions about your VersionTracker subscription, renewal, or VersionTracker.com, please do not hesitate to contact us. To get more information, refer to our FAQ about these changes. You can reach VersionTracker customer support by clicking the Email Support tab at the top of the FAQ.

We hope you have been satisfied with your VersionTracker Pro service, and we thank you for all of your support. The team who brought you VersionTracker Pro is now part of the team that brings you CNET Downloads, including the founder of VersionTracker.com himself. You have been with us for a long time, and we hope to continue our relationship as we maintain our original mission: to provide you with the latest updates and utilities to help keep your computer up-to-date.

Thank you for your support,

Aaron Smith CNET Downloads Product Manager" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.99.65.10 (talk) 14:10, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
