I was trying to find some information for a caption on the Waldo Covered Bridge in Talladega County and found this entry. I immediately wondered about the information claiming that Gen. James H. Wilson and his raiders used the bridge during their raid in Alabama. As you can see from this link, Wilson's Raid was well west of Waldo, and so the bridge was highly unlikely to have been on his route.
