Plot section
[edit]Needs a major rewrite. I tagged it for cleanup but I haven't seen the entire movie so I'm not really in the position to improve it. CillaИ ♦ XC 17:37, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Agree, needs a rewrite and inclusion of actors names, haven't seen the film either. 2806:107E:D:50A9:C935:B933:8B2:7E40 (talk) 02:41, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
I rewrote it (hopefully an improvement), but it could still use some expansion. CillaИ ♦ XC 23:29, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Whoever wrote the ending for the film obviously has not seen the film. Bobby does not shoot Vadim. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.6.121.145 (talk) 18:47, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Well, there is a hole in his chest and he is bleeding from his mouth after Bobby goes into the field to find him. What do you explain happened to him, then? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.12.143.222 (talk) 17:25, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- And we see Bobby shoot the shotgun. We don't see Vadim take the hit, but I think it's a reasonable assumption that Bobby does shoot him. Hoof Hearted (talk) 20:30, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Music
[edit]The music in the club (Clash, Bowie, Blondie) seems more early-80s than late 80s. Is that deliberate ? -- Beardo (talk) 22:15, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yes. In the bonus features of the DVD the director explains that Bobby (in his 30's) would probably prefer the music he enjoyed in his 20's and play that at his club. Hence the 10 year musical shift. Hoof Hearted (talk) 20:15, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Charcoal?
[edit]Can anyone explain the cops pouring (liquid?) charcoal down Bobby's throat during the bust? Was it to filter out any drugs they suspected he was on? Is this normal police practice? From what I remember of the scene, there wasn't much probable cause to suspect he was high. Hoof Hearted (talk) 20:33, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
-^^^^Uhhhhhhh....that's the point Sherlock. There was no probable cause. They were messing with Bobby after he spit at a cop. They were trying to humiliate him under the guise that he was going to OD on drugs that he allegedly ingested. So they pored a charcoal solution in his mouth to neutralized anything he was going to allegedly OD on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.10.231.110 (talk) 22:33, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for graciously pointing out my blunder. Having never seen this action performed by police (even in a fictionalized version), I wondered if I had misinterpretted something. Your crass comment actually explained things pretty well. Cheers! Hoof Hearted (talk) 20:38, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
69.137.55.39 (talk) 21:33, 15 August 2012 (UTC)The charcoal solution is also used to induce vomiting, the obvious presumption being that the individual has "swallowed his stash."69.137.55.39 (talk) 21:33, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
