Writing For Biologist Class Evaluation: The information is easily understandable but there are only two sentences. The first sentence is a good way to start off (stating that it is a species of ray finned fish) but the second sentence seems random for a second sentence for an overview of an article. I wouldn't consider this to be an overview since it only has two sentences but the first sentence would be a good start of an overview article. The information box to the right of the article is helpful and has a lot of information. The information that is in the article is cited properly and was not just taken from somebodies knowledge of the western blacknose dace. The quality of the little content given is good but there is such little information. This article needs a lot of information about all of the western blacknose daces life history. This article does not have an introduction and the second point made seems to be randomly paired. There is no real introduction or structure it just seems to be the facts that the first person who made this article knew. I clicked on the sources and the references are reliable and provide the same amount of information that the article lists. The references are from FishBase and International Union for Conservation of Nature. Although this article is very short the information that is included is quality and should be left in the article once I add in more information about the life history of the western blacknose dace. After looking further into the article I noticed that this "article" is actually called a stub because Wikipedia deemed it too short to provide any real coverage of the subject. The information is unbiased and came straight from a reliable article. I think that along with more information, this article needs more pictures. I think a generic photo of the species would be good to have at the beginning of the article so that it is the first thing someone sees when they open the article. The second picture that I would add would be a comparison of males and females to show that these fish have different colored stripes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chancepatznick (talkcontribs) 13:37, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
