Notability

[edit]

I finally discovered where "Whitsbury Cross" is supposed to be, it's the name of a crossroads half-a-mile south of Whitsbury. I'm not sure it counts as notable though. There doesn't seem to be much there except a house called "Whitsbury house". I think maybe this should just be redirected to Whitsbury. Singinglemon (talk) 22:57, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Looking on the List of places in Hampshire list, Whitsbury Cross counts as a settlement because it has its own address code - even if the hamlet is made up of some crossroads it could have its own address code. Jaguar (talk) 13:13, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected to Whitsbury

[edit]

I've redirected this page to Whitsbury. Whitsbury Cross, as already discussed, is just a crossroads immediately to the south of Whitsbury. Anything that can meaningfully be said about Whitsbury Cross can be said on that page. Pasicles (talk) 19:41, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
