Rejecting an irrational change[edit]

It is entirely normal to have a very notable person first on a list of change. And the modification made by one user left two not very notable US names singled out, plus 'other names' left with the first name left hanging. Silly. GwydionM (talk) 07:45, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It also seems odd to remove a famous radical. You are free to dislike him, but not pretend he was insignificant.

Please avoid discussing editor's personality. I have no freaking idea who all these Wilkeses are. Also, I will doubt that he is the most notable one, unless you provide a convincing reference. I do see that, e.g., American presidents are singled out in this way. But a Wilkes? Anyway, I suggest to wait for a third opinion. - Altenmann >talk 08:18, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. in an edit summary you wrote that he is more notable than the other two. Thi thing is that thye are Wilkeses by the given name and we do not have (and do not need) Wilkes (given name), so thay got lucky. HAppens all the time.- Altenmann >talk 08:21, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
