[edit]I believe this page should be a separate article and not a redirect. Touch ID did not redirect to iOS 7, so I think someone should use a sandbox to submit a draft of this page. UpsandDowns1234 (talk) 22:29, 9 September 2016 (UTC)
- @UpsandDowns1234: Touch ID is not exclusive to one operating system (iOS 7-11 and the new MacBook Pro). For the length of the article, I believe it should still be present in the Windows 10 article. Touch ID also received significantly more coverage than Windows Hello. While all iPhones for many years included Touch ID, Windows Hello is only available in a small fraction of Windows 10 PCs. Daylen (talk) 05:58, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
Proposed merge
[edit]I propose that this be merged into Windows. I think that the content in this article can easily be explained in the Windows article.Itsquietuptown (Talk • Contributions) 08:53, 11 February 2018 (UTC)
- Redirect to Windows 10 § System security. There is nothing to merge and Microsoft Windows is not the optimal merger target. —Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 13:14, 11 February 2018 (UTC)
