[edit]The phrase "winter soldier" predates every entry in this db. A 1965 episode of Rawhide (TV series) is titled "The Winter Soldier" and concerns an army deserter. I suspect the phrase predates the 20th century, but I am still investigating. An actual definition of the phrase should be in the lede for this article. Canonblack (talk) 13:19, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
