I'll take this one. Rather than bring them up here, I will just fix any minor issues I see myself. If you're unhappy with any of my changes, just revert them and we'll discuss here instead. I'm happy for you to work on any issues I bring up as I bring them up; don't feel the need to wait until I finish the entire review. Freikorp (talk) 21:36, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose is "clear and concise", without copyvios, or spelling and grammar errors:
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
In the last paragraph of the 'Gameplay' section you have two semicolons. Wouldn't a regular comma be more appropriate here as it is not separating independent clauses? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though.
You're right, thanks for spotting this. Changed to commas. JAGUAR  10:35, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately I don't think your quote box improves the article. It doesn't expand on anything that isn't covered in the prose, and part of the quote already appears in the prose within quote marks.
Removed. It did seem to squash the text underneath the infobox. JAGUAR  10:35, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
"There are over 9.5m PS2s" - was this released as a text statement? If not, suggest changing the 'm' to million, or consider changing to m[illion] even if it was a text statement. Up to you though.
    Changed to "million". JAGUAR  10:35, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Can you expand on the sixteen music tracks in any way? Did artists, the game's producers or record companies comment on this at all? Are there references of any other notable artists that may have featured tracks. One sentence paragraphs give me the heebie-jeebies :).
I couldn't find anything explicitly regarding the music with this one. Unfortunately Wipeout Pulse's soundtrack isn't as comprehensive as the first or second games (which have their own soundtrack articles). Since music is a big part of Wipeout, I found it necessary to mention as it's in the lead. Unfortunately I can't expand it due to lack of information, but I can remove it or move it to the gameplay section if you prefer? I don't like one sentence paragraphs either! I plan to get Wipeout (album) to GA soon. JAGUAR  10:35, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. Has an appropriate reference section:
    B. Citation to reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
Stable as indicated by talk page and history.
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are provided if possible and are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
Good quality info-box image and game-play screenshot with appropriate licenses.
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

Very close to passing this one. Well done. I strongly recommend you archive the references that are not archived already though, especially since there are so few of them and it won't take long. Freikorp (talk) 03:47, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review, Freikorp! I've addressed everything except the one sentence part about the music. Unfortunately I can't expand it, but I will be inclined to remove it if you think it's best. JAGUAR  10:35, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No that's fine. I'd rather have the single sentence paragraph than no information on it at all. Happy for this to pass now. :) Freikorp (talk) 12:55, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
