NPOV

One of the pillars of Wikipedia is to assume good faith, but this article does not withstand the proof of critical scrutiny. A normative tone and approach as to what global history should do and how it should so is overly dominant, setting the agenda, at times clearly political, as to how the field is structured. There is also a general question, not addressed in the text or rather carefully avoided, as to what extent historians embedded in American and English culture can make claims of objectivity while narrating the history of the world. I suggest for the article to be revised following clear examples offered in current scholarship and concrete examples. As of now, the normative approach makes up for what is missing in terms of scholarship and references to the primary literature.--86.6.148.125 (talk) 20:42, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

If you're going to tag the article with {{NPOV}}, then it's up to you to propose specific edits or clear examples offered in current scholarship. I've removed the tag. --Sangdeboeuf (talk) 00:24, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
