Xuân Thủy, Le Thuy → Xuan Thuy, Le Thuy — Most common spelling in English doesn't use special characters, according to web searches. (Name of district is needed to disambiguate this commune from Xuan Thuy, a person.) See User talk:Genghiskhan#Article titles and WP:UE#Modified letters. Oppose The accurate spelling contains the diacritics (please check thousands of similar articles throughout Wikipedia where the "most common spelling" in English has no effect in the application of diacritics). Besides, this should be moved to Xuân Thủy, Lệ Thủy, which would conform to the spelling we use for the article on the Lệ Thủy District. The current hybrid form makes no sense. Neutral. Any of the names is OK with me, actually. When a page is created with diacritics, a redirect should also be created from the name with plain letters. In this case the redirect will already exist, I think, because of the page move. At first, I moved the page from the plain letters to the special letters. But then I wasn't sure whether that was the right thing to do, so I tried to move it back. Whatever other editors here decide to do is fine with me. The user who created the page, User:Genghiskhan, has also created pages with special letters, for example Khánh An, U Minh, so I think the user probably won't mind if it's moved to a name with special letters.
