Reason for this article

This article was created due to persistent refusal of the editors with a significantly bias POV refusal to rename the article Iaşi-Chişinău Offensive. The big and rather obvious problem with this article was that the name is unrecognizable in English. Besides that the article was written from a very much Rumanian POV using German sources almost exclusively to describe a small part of the events the article should be describing. It was judged that given the inability of the other editors to come to an agreement on the naming of the article alone based on logic and Wikipedia standards, there was very little chance of the article being completed to any sort of quality standard without extensive and unproductive edit wars. Given the Iaşi-Chişinău Offensive obviously does not conform to Wikipedia Style Guide for English use, and the inability of the other editors to accept Wikipedia standards, or to accept a standard widely used by either the oldest sited or best known English source for the article in any foreseeable future, this article was created from scratch to correct the many deficiencies of the previous article and the old article was tagged for deletion. As a reprisal for this action this article was in turn tagged for deletion.
It is the intention of the article to dispute the deletion and to bring the article to higher editorial quality standard, assuming non-interference based on bias POV.--mrg3105mrg3105 21:22, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
