[edit]Replaced with direct quotes from source Deleted references that talked about the author, and not the book. Reference to David Bowie's admiration needs a reference. Reference for Kevin Costner does not mention any anger on his part. Reference does not say that radical feminists and Christian groups have objected to the book's premise, only that they are offended by it.

- Moreover, is there a reference to the offence it supposedly caused that isn't to a pre-release hype-piece published by the author, his agent, or someone else associated with the author via MyWire? As it stands, that's all there is to go on that it offended people for this article. -- 205.174.163.163 (talk) 17:20, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
There is a definite problem with the redirect links, most of which lead back to Zanesville, OH, and not Zanesville the novel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.115.23.219 (talk) 01:52, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
