Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because there is sufficient context to identify the subject, which is notable in context of this extremely important novel. --Zymurgy (talk) 08:19, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This clearly does not meet the policy -

Also perhaps draw the editor's attention to the policy for A1 deletion - A1. No context[edit] Shortcut: WP:A1 Articles lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. Example: "He is a funny man with a red car. He makes people laugh." This applies only to very short articles. Context is different from content, treated in A3. Caution is needed when using this tag on newly created articles. This excludes coherent Non-English material, and poorly translated material. If any information in the title or on the page, including links, allows an editor, possibly with the aid of a web search, to find further information on the subject in an attempt to expand or edit it, there is enough context that A1 is not appropriate.[4]

Can someone please remove the tag on this page and on Harry Carr (private), thanks--Zymurgy (talk) 10:13, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
