[edit]I'm not certain it would be correct to say that the President Bartlett character was "badly wounded" in the shooting. It seems more accurate to me that the Bartlett character was hit by a piece of shrapnel and received a relatively minor wound, in contrast to the Josh Lyman character who received very serious, life-threatening injuries.
