Anyone knowledgable enough to translate a passage of Örvar-Odds saga concerning Kraken will find the passage, already partly translated, at Talk:Kraken. --Wetman 19:02, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I could try for a translation - but it's often nicer to use published translations, so they can be cited and referenced. Try posting the request to my mailing list, norse_course@yahoogroups.com - some of the friendly folks there can probably help us out :) - Haukur Þorgeirsson 19:31, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hjalmar

[edit]

In this article it states that Hjalmar was killed by Angantyr, Wasn't it Hjordvar Angatyrs brother that challenged Hjalmar to a duel on Samsö? And that he then caused Hjalmar deaths? According to the story Angatyr and the 10 remaining brothers were also killed at the same time. And that was most likely by Örvar-Oddr that was present with a wooden club. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.4.84.193 (talk) 00:22, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
