Tamagawa Station (玉川駅, Tamagawa-eki) is a railway station on the JR East Hachinohe Line located in the town of Hirono, Kunohe District, Iwate Prefecture, Japan. It is 38.1 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Hachinohe Line at Hachinohe Station.

Station layout

Tamagawa Station has a single side platform serving a single track. The station is unmanned.

History

Tamagawa Station opened on August 5, 1954. Upon the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987 the station became part of JR East.
